Rolety wyposażeniem okien w naszych mieszkaniach

Istnieje multum procedur na interesujący wystrój okna. Kreślarze wnętrz polecają surowe albo subtelne osłony lub rolety. Każdy z wyznaczonych sposobów w dodatku zabezpiecza nasze wnętrza przed przesadnymi promieniami słonecznymi w toku dnia a w ciągu nocy przed zwykłym światłem zaburzającym lekki sen.

Popularne rolety w polskich domach

Michael Roberts and Ruth Schnier

My memories of Michael and Ruth go back to elementary school in South Bay. Now these are waaay back memories: Michael lost a lot of weight around the age of 12 or so. He told us he ate nothing but Jello during that time. Don’t know if he was pulling my leg or not, but he seemed serious when he said it. Ruth was a quiet one without many friends. She had no social life and was not allowed to do anything after school. Her mother would drive her to school and pick her up immediately afterwards, even though they lived across the street. I always felt somewhat sorry for her. I’m sure there was a reason, but I don’t know it.

Janet Rhymes and Bobby Schoenfeld

Janet was such a fun-loving classmate. Great personality! My best recollections are from Coach Maynor’s history class. It seems she was always cutting up. Bobby, I remember as quiet, in contrast.

Skipper Peacock and Billy Pierce

Skipper didn’t graduate with our class, but moved on to become a Pahokee senior. However, up until then, he was a big part of the BG environment. I always thought he had the cutest smile (although it’s not seen in the photo here)! Billy was a class clown. Didn’t get the superlative, but probably came in as a very close second. Come to think of it, we had quite a few class clowns… always trying to bring a laugh to a serious subject (like Mrs Hill’s Speech class). Both of these boys were fun to be around.

Linda Lutz and George McMillan

Linda and George were such a cute couple! I remember our 10th class reunion. Linda and George went with my x-husband and me for a late night snack in South Bay… I believe it was at the truck stop diner. Always in love and giddy.

Time Is Flying By: Are You Willing And Able To Come?

149 days to go as of today.  That’s only 5 months. It’s hard to believe we started planning this reunion almost 4 years ago!!

Fifty years is a milestone in many ways… birthdays, marriages, jobs, etc. A Class Reunion is no exception. It’s a time to CELEBRATE!

I have to admit, however, I’m getting  tired of working on this reunion. At times recently, I’ve wanted to quit the whole thing. People don’t seem to be excited or motivated to do their part and it’s taking the steam out of my blood. I’m not talking to those who HAVE pitched in… I’m talking about those from the class of 1962 who have offered NOTHING (you know who you are) to help host our reunion. I graciously refrain from naming names.

To those from ALL classes who have sent in their registration forms and their registration money, “THANK YOU SO MUCH”.  It does take money for deposits, food, prizes, decorations, name tags, printing, etc. To those who plan on coming to this monumental event, and who have NOT filled out the form and sent their registration money, what are you waiting for??

We do realize people are busy with their personal lives,but now it’s really time for action.

The registration form can be found here. If you don’t want to print it out and send it in by postal carrier and would prefer to do it by email, let us know and we can arrange an easier way.

Looking forward to seeing everyone once again!! Let’s CELEBRATE this common milestone event!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

To all Belle Glade High School alumni, fans, and friends… we wish a very Merry Christmas to all the Christians, Happy Hanukkuh to our Jewish friends, and a safe and happy New Year to ALL.

We will see you in 6 months!!!

A Reunion Poem

We’re not quite there yet, but I thought this poem was funny!!

THE CLASS REUNION

Every five years, as summertime nears,
An announcement arrives in the mail;
A reunion is planned… it’ll be really grand;
Make plans to attend without fail.

I’ll never forget the first time we met;
We tried so hard to impress.
We drove fancy cars, smoked big cigars,
And wore our most elegant dress.

It was quite an affair; the whole class was there.
It was held at a fancy hotel.
We wined, and we dined, and we acted refined,
And everyone thought it was swell.

The men all conversed about who had been first
To achieve great fortune and fame.
Meanwhile, their spouses described their fine houses
And how beautiful their children became.

The homecoming queen, who once had been lean,
Now weighed in at one-ninety-six.
The jocks who were there had all lost their hair,
And cheerleaders could no longer do kicks.

No one had heard about the class nerd
Who’d guided spacecraft to the moon;
Or poor little Jane, who’s always been plain;
She married a shipping tycoon.

The boy we’d decreed ‘most apt to succeed’
Was serving ten years in the pen,
While the one voted ‘least’ now was a priest;
Just shows you can be wrong now and then.

They awarded a prize to one of the guys
Who seemed to have aged the least..
Another was given to the grad who had driven
The farthest to attend the feast.

They took a class picture, a curious mixture
Of beehives, crew cuts and wide ties.
Tall, short, or skinny, the style was the mini;
You never saw so many thighs.

At our next get-together, no one cared whether
They impressed their classmates or not.
The mood was informal, a whole lot more normal;
By this time we’d all gone to pot.

It was held out-of-doors, at the lake shores;
We ate hamburgers, coleslaw, and beans.
Then most of us lay around in the shade,
In our comfortable T-shirts and jeans.

By the fiftieth year, it was abundantly clear,
We were definitely over the hill.
Those who weren’t dead had to crawl out of bed,
And be home in time for their pill.

And now I can’t wait; they’ve set the date; Our sixtieth is coming, I’m told.
It should be a ball, they’ve rented a hall
At the Shady Rest Home for the old.

Repairs have been made on my hearing aid;
My pacemaker’s been turned up on high.
My wheelchair is oiled, and my teeth have been boiled;
And I’ve bought a new wig and glass eye.

I’m feeling quite hearty, and I’m ready to party
I’m gonna dance ’til dawn’s early light.
It’ll be lots of fun; But I just hope that there’s one
Other person who can make it that night.
